ANNAMALAIYAR
TEMPLE

Annamalaiyar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva, located at the base of Annamalai hills in the town of Tiruvannamalai. the temple town attracts millions of devotees on Girivalam, on the occasion of full moon day every month and on the festival of Karthigai deepam.

Sri Ramana Maharshi Ashram (Ramanasramam

SRI RAMANASRAMAM

Sri Ramanasramam, is the ashram which was home to modern sage and Advaita Vedanta philosopher Ramana Maharshi from 1922 until his death in 1950. His teachings and effective meditation practices to understand humanity and divinity attracted people all over the world.

VIRUPAKSHA CAVE

Virupaksha Cave is where Ramana Maharshi spent his life for many years. It is located on the slopes of the Holy Mountain, Arunachala. It is a short walk up from the back side of the Arunacheleswara Temple.

VALLIMALAI -
MURUGAN TEMPLE

Vallimalai, is a scenic and peaceful place where Valli the consort of Lord Muruga, was born. This place let visitors to have a trek trip. The beautiful greenery from the top of the temple is a treat for the eyes. One can meditate on a day when it is not crowded.

JAWADHU HILLS

The Jawadhu Hills are an extension of the Eastern Ghats spread across parts of Tiruvannamalai district. The cliffs and precipices of hills allure and excite tourists. Beema falls, Komutteri Lake, Kavalur Observatory, Amrithi Forest are some places of interest on this zone.

SATTANUR DAM

Sattanur Dam is constructed across the Thenpennai river. A trip to Tiruvanmalai would be incomplete without visiting this dam. Visit during post lunch is better. This place has gardens, children parks, boating place and a crocodile farm.

GINGEE FORT

Gingee fort is one of the few ancient forts that still stands in the region of Tamil Nadu. The place has old world charm and is regarded as a rare architectural marvel created by Chola kings. It is ideal to visit the place during day times.

YELAGIRI HILLS

Yelagiri's bounteous beauty brings the much- awaited respite from the madness of crowded cities. The surrounding attractions are Velavan temple, Jalagamparai Water Falls, Swamimalai Hill, Punganur Lake and Nature Park.

ADHIRANGAM RANGANATHASWAMY TEMPLE

Adhirangam Ranganathaswamy temple or Ranganatha Perumal Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu located in Adhi Thiruvarangam in the Taluk of Sankarapuram, Tamil Nadu, India. Constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is believed to have been built by the Medieval Cholas, with later contributions from Vijayanagar kings. The temple covers an area of 5 acres (20,000 m2) and has a historical grain storage container.
